Saviours set to tour, release new album

Official press release: Oakland, California's Saviours hit the road this week for their much-anticipated tour with Kalas (featuring Matt Pike of High On Fire/Sleep). The tour, covering ground between California and Texas, sees Saviours make at least six appearances at South By Southwest in Austin, playing such coveted showcases as the Vice Records Party (with Whitehouse, Diamond Nights, and more) and the Kemado Records Party (with The Sword, Witch, and more). Saviours drummer Scott Batiste made this statement about the impending tour: "We're ecstatic about the opportunity to spread fear through the Southwest. Austin will be deaf and devastated when we're finished." Saviours debut full-length, "Crucifire", is set for release on Level Plane Records on May 16. Meanwhile, Saviours' song, "Circle Of Servants' Bodies", appears as the leadoff track on Kemado Records' "Invaders" compilation, a heavy music comp featuring the likes of High on Fire, Pelican, Big Business, and Torche, hitting stores April 25.
