Birds Of Prey (Dave Witte) record debut

Official press release: Birds Of Prey have recently completed the recording for their debut record, Weight of The Wound. Birds Of Prey, who will be quickly named as a southern-rock super-group, is a studio project that features the creative collective of Erik Larson (Alabama Thunderpussy) on guitars, Bo Leslie (Throttlerod) also on guitars, Summer Welch (Baroness) on bass, Dave Witte (Municipal Waste) on drums and Ben Hogg (Beaten Back To Pure) on vocals. The quintet holed up at the Karma Productions studio in Richmond, VA this past December to record with Cory Smoot who will also mix and master the record. Advance song titles include "Mangled by Mongoloids (ripped apart by the retarded)", " Hustling the Coroner (to overlook the strychnine)", " Buttfucked with a Shotgun Barrel", " Landfill Burial", " Filth Farm of Washington State", " Front Lawn Filled with Family Members", " Murder of an Off-Duty Cop", "The Old Lady Rots (but the checks keep coming)", "Cokemule" and "To Kill a Co-Worker (you ain't my fucking boss man)".
