Himsa is still together -- update

Contrary to popular belief, hardcore-hybrid outfit, Himsa, has not broken up. The band recently added a new drummer(John Harnett), a new singer(John Pettibone), and has also recruited someone(Clay Layton) to help out with sampling and additional vocals. In 1999 the Seattle-based band released a full-length, Ground Breaking Ceremony, for Revelation Records. Himsa be recording a three-song demo within the next couple of months, which may turn into a full-length, if Revelation Records wants it to. Later this year the group plans on touring in both the U.S. and Europe. Also, look for a new Himsa song on the upcoming Revelation 100 comp, due out this Spring.
