Thorp Records has officially added
The Welch Boys to their roster. According to Thorp, the Boston outfit, which features members of
Slapshot and
The Blue Bloods, plays "full-on, top notch anthemic street punk laced with elements of East Coast hardcore." The band's self-titled album was produced by
Jim Siegel (
Ramallah) at
The Outpost and will hit streets in February 2006. You can download a track from the album
