Virginia's Spitfire have signed a two-album deal with Goodfellow Records, the label they released a CDep with in 2001. The group is currently writing a new full-length album, their first in four years. Recording is taking place at Red Planet studios in Virginia with producer Andreas Magnusson and the album, tentatively titled "Self-Help," will hit stores in early-2006. Goodfellow owner Chris Logan had the following to say:
"We couldn't be happier to have Spitfire as an addition to our lovely family of bands. 2006 couldn’t come soon enough, so the world can hear the new chapter in this band's career."
