The Scheme (Drowningman, Lifetime) to release CD

Short-lived Oakland, CA band The Scheme have announced plans to release an eight-song collection. The band had originally been slated to release a full-length via Deathwish Inc. in 2003, but broke up several weeks later. According to vocalist Simon Brody, "At the recent Lifetime reunion shows, members of The Scheme, which featured past and current members of Drowningman, Lifetime, Jets to Brazil and Redemption 87 were in the same room for the first time in 2 years... [we] have decided to release the 8-song collection and are speaking to several record labels about releasing it. Record label peoples can contact us through the Drowningman address Drowningman@reignition.com."
