The lawsuit claiming Slayer and record label were to blame for the 1995 murder of a teenage girl has been temporarily suspended. Judge Jeffrey Burke ruled on Tuesday that the plaintiffs had not presented enough evidence for the case to proceed to civil trial. The actual incident took place on July 22nd, 1995 when three minors reportedly raped, tortured, and murdered a fifteen year old girl. The three boys eventually claimed that they were only following the instructions outlined in such Slayer tracks at "Altar of Sacrifice" and "Necrophiliac". The plaintiffs now have 60 days to gather more evidence and re-file their complaints.
