The Holy Ghost Tabernacle Choir cover Death Cab for Cutie's "The New Year" for charity tribute album

Georgia heavy metal band The Holy Ghost Tabernacle Choir have released a studio-recorded cover version of popular alt-rock group Death Cab for Cutie's 2003 song "The New Year." 

The new cut is part of a tribute album called Farther Than Ever Before - A Tribute to Transatlanticism, which is scheduled for release on Friday, March 7th. All proceeds benefiting Global Action for Trans Equality (GATE) and the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF).
