Kid Rock storms off stage when audience doesn't pay him enough attention

"Fuck y'all. You ain't gonna clap. I'm gone."

Kid Rock

Kid Rock recently refused to continue a show in Nashville, TN because the audience didn't applaud him enough, compelling "American Bad Ass" to storm off stage. He was appearing as a special guest at a birthday celebration for Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan which was being held in Jon Bon Jovi's bar.

He had been on stage during a cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Proud Mary," but stormed off when the audience wasn't showing enough interest. He can be heard saying "fuck them. Fuck them. Hey, hey, stop," and he lightly shoved a female singer of the band out the way, before showing the crowd what he wanted them to do. "If you ain't gonna clap, we ain't gonna sing. That's how it's gonna work."

Even though some members of the crowd began to participate, that seemingly still wasn't enough to placate Kid Rock and he stormed off saying, "you know what, fuck y'all. You ain't gonna clap, I'm gone."

David Bryan was playing in the band at the time at the time.
