Slipknot's Clown reveals details about 2025 plans, which include a new album

Clown

In a conversation backstage with Knotfest in London, Slipknot's Clown has given his New Year's resolution for 2025:

I'm going to work on 'No Complaining'…my expectations are never going to be met. So I need to give myself a break. It's probably the last part of ego I need to work on.

As for Slipknot's plans for this year, he revealed this:

I can just work on positive potential. We got a new album. We're gonna start at some point. I just want to roll into that with an energy like it's all starting again. That's how I want to approach it.

It seems that Slipknot have been newly refreshed following their recent 25th anniversary tours to celebrate their debut record, and ready to unleash whatever their next material will sound like. They have teased songs written with new drummer Eloy Casagrande, which will hopefully be releasing "soon". Although, this talk of new releases has nothing to do with the long-teased Look Outside Your Window, with Clown stating as much:

It was never a Slipknot album. Not while it was happening, not while I've held onto it for 10 years, and certainly not fuckin' when it comes out.

Knotfest have stated that the record "might see the light of day in the first quarter of 2025".
