Balance and Composure share Audiotree Far Out performance

Pennsylvania rock/post-hardcore outfit Balance and Composure took part in the Audiotree Far Out series back in October 2024, performing a couple of songs from a historic landmark in Illinois, the Schweikher House.

Pennsylvania rock band, Balance and Composure, has been delivering a unique blend of fuzzy grunge grooves, ambient guitar riffs, and haunting, catharsis-driven vocals since their lightning-in-a-bottle 2011 debut, 'Separation'. Their 2016 record 'Light We Made' was meant to be the band's final full-length record; however, in 2023 the band surprised the world with the announcement of their reunion, and shortly after, released their thrilling full-length comeback 'with you in spirit'. Balance and Composure's fourth LP 'with you in spirit' is an intensely self-reflective record for vocalist and guitarist Jon Simmons, an uprooting examination of the supports on which a life is built. An arresting, atmospheric collection of melodic post-punk and towering rock, the record grapples with preemptive grief, wrestling with god and faith, familial responsibility, and familial mortality. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience to capture Balance and Composure reach new heights and explore new depths from within Schaumburg, Illinois' historic Schweikher House.
