Regional Justice Center are hosting a benefit show Friday, January 10th to raise money for victims of the fire.

Ben Koller, longtime drummer for Converge, has taken to facebook to announce that he has made the decision to evacuate his home, taking his family with him.

Read his statement below:

Going out to the desert to wait things out. Evac zone was creeping up on us so I made the executive decision to play it safe and get the hell out of the city. Air quality was atrocious, lots of stories of friends and neighbors losing everything, leaving in the middle of the night etc. Thanks for checking in if you hit me up, we're all safe and heading for clean air. Please look out for each other

In a since deleted Instagram story, Josh Gilbert (Spiritbox, ex-As I Lay Dying) broke the news that his house has sadly been lost in the fires.

His partner had this to say:

Not the update I wanted to share. But our magical house on Wapello Street didn't make it... I have no words.
Heartbroken for all of our neighbors, everything is gone. We haven't made it back to the kitties yet but we will be sheltering in a safe space once we do while we figure out next steps.

Wesley Eisold of American Nightmare posted an update to his facebook letting people know that his family was safe.

Thanks to everyone who checked in on us. We left last night when the Hollywood fire broke out not far from our home. So far we are ok but devastated for others' loss and the destruction of our city. Heartbreaking and strange days.
