Gojira release official music video of “Mea Culpa (Ah! Ça ira!)” from Paris Summer Olympics

After months of elusive footage due to broadcast rights issues, Gojira has officially uploaded their groundbreaking Olympic performance of "Mea Culpa (Ah! Ça ira!)." 

The band made history this past July as the first metal act to perform at the Olympics, delivering a visually striking set from the ledges of the Conciergerie Palace in Paris, France.

The track, co-composed with Victor Le Masne, the musical director for the games, featured mezzo-soprano Marina Viotti, who also performed during the event. The elaborate performance, steeped in France's revolutionary history—complete with macabre imagery, including a beheaded Marie Antoinette—sparked controversy globally.
