London, UK hardcore punk record label Quality Control HQ is currently in a state of limbo following the arrest of founder (and hardcore musician) Ola Herbich, allegedly for unspecified forms of political activism.

Boston record label Triple B Records has shared the following information regarding the situation:

"Quality Control HQ is closed ...for now. Some of you may not be aware, but QCHQ is essentially a one-woman operation. Ola is currently an unwilling guest of the British government, due to her unwavering convictions and standing up for what is right. As a result, QCHQ will be on indefinite hiatus. We are working to try and gain access to the site to halt orders, along with accounts, emails and refunds for those who have ordered since 19th of November. We will have further news, including about Damage Is Done Fest, soon."

Launched in 2010, Quality Control HQ has released material from a slew of artists, including Pest Control, Zulu, Imposter, and Bib. You can view an old record label profile here.
