Drug Church released their latest studio album, Prude, this past Friday and have also shared a behind the scenes documentary of the recording process.

Documentarian Dookie shared the following:

Huge thanks to the guys in Drug Church for letting me be a part of the process—not just as someone with a camera, but as a member of their tribe. They are the most accepting and lovable bunch of people on earth; I can't stress that enough.

It's wild to think that just a few years ago, I was simply a fan at their shows, taking photos. Now here I am, putting together a documentary for them.

Calling this project a challenge would be an understatement. As a novice filmmaker, taking on the opportunity to shoot an incredible band working on their fifth album, I felt way in over my head. When I started shooting, there was no album title, no concept, and no lyrics—so when I got home to start piecing it all together, the feeling of being overwhelmed really hit me. Nonetheless, this was an incredible opportunity, and I'm so proud to share this film and see it come to life almost a year later. I'm beyond grateful to have been part of it, and I hope you all enjoy watching it as much as I did making it!

Finally, Prude is the fifth album by the homies in Drug Church. Honestly, I don't know what else to say except that it's one of the best things I've ever heard. Every member of the band is not just talented, but also kind (even if PK has his own imposter syndrome about his singing). I hope you all enjoy it. P.S. There's a longer version of this documentary—no clue when it'll see the light of day, but its hella funny!

Dookie.

Hardly any comments. No heat on this record at all.

This film is almost as boring as listening to that record, which is almost as boring as making that record.
