Evergreen Terrace drop off Shell Shock following Kyle Rittenhouse involvement
North Florida metalcore band, Evergreen Terrace, has dropped out of the upcoming event Shell Shock, which is scheduled to take place in Orlando, FL on October 19th at Level 13 Entertainment Center, due to Kyle Rittenhouse being announced as a guest/feature.
Shell Shocked is described as a "PTSD charity & awareness event" put on by The Anti Hero Podcast in hopes of raising substantial funds for the C.A.T. II Foundation. With a portion of the proceeds being directed to a reputable charity that supports military veterans and first responders struggling with injuries to include PTSD.
Evergreen Terrace was set to be the headliner along with other acts such as SouthpawFLHC, American Hollow, and more. The event also includes appearances from King Pix Media, UFC/Bareknuckle fighter Mike Perry, political comedy content creator Anthony Raimondi, and more.
The event's organizers have since deleted any posts including Kyle Rittenhouse, however it would seem acts have already decided to not participate. It is unclear if Rittenhouse will remain on the line up, there has been no statement made by event organizers as of posting this.
Evergreen Terrace shared the following:
Evergreen Terrace has always supported and continues to support philanthropic events for veterans, PTSD awareness, child poverty, and many more, but we will not align with an event promoting a perceived murderer such as Kyle Rittenhouse capitalizing off of their pseudo celebrity. Unfortunately we did not do our due diligence with this particular event. Even after they offered to pull Kyle from the event, we discovered several associated entities that we simply do not agree with. As advocates for free speech we are respectfully canceling the Shell Shock festival. We will be personally contributing to a veterans charity and urge you to do the same. The promoters have been nothing less than understanding.

See you soon, Orlando.
