The Red Chord complete new album
The Red Chord have finished tracking their debut album for Metal Blade Records. Mastering will take place next week with Alan Douches at West West Side. Artwork is being handled by Paul Romano (Mastodon, Nasum) and the record will hit stores on May 17th. Here's what The Red Chord's Guy Kozowyk says about the effort: "We're extremely excited to see how everyone is going to react to the Clients disc. We'll be putting up a new track in the upcoming weeks and possibly recording a video for the track 'Lay the Tarp' sometime in Feb/March. It's a very different album than Fused Together in Revolving Doors. I personally think it's a lot heavier and angrier, but we'll let you judge for yourself. Thanks to Zeuss for pushing us in the studio and extra special thanks to Nate from Premonitions of War/Dead Water Drowning for coming out and doing some guest vocals." Meanwhile, the band has lined up the following shows: 2/27 Chicopee MA @ Cabot Street w/ Every Single Nerve, more 2/28 Dover NH @ The Aviary w/ the Taste of Silver, more 3/3 Middletown NY @ Club NY w/ Ed Gein 3/4 Allentown PA @ TBA 3/5 Fredericksburg VA @ KCs w/ Ed Gein. On Broken Wings, more 3/6 Port Jefferson NY @ Club Vegas w/ Ed Gein, more 3/11 Tokyo, Japan @ TBA w/ Bury Your Dead, Bowling for Soup, more
