Tool bassist Justin Chancellor pranks Night Verses on stage as Willy Wonka during European Tour
Tool recently shared a video showcasing a tour prank they pulled on Californian alternative/post-hardcore instrumental act Night Verses during their European and UK run this past June. Tool is known for allowing different members of the band to pick their tour openers, and it seems this time, bassist Justin Chancellor took the reins. His choice of Night Verses made sense, given his feature on their single "Séance" last fall.
In the prank, Chancellor dressed up in a Willy Wonka-style costume, leading a group of costumed Tool road crew members in a playful send-off for the instrumental prog metal trio.
