Pelican news and notes

Pelican will be releasing a new EP this year. The effort will feature a twenty-minute track and a remix by Justin Broadrick (of Godflesh fame). Look for that one to hit stores this Spring. Meanwhile, the band will be putting out a vinyl-only split with MONO through Hydra Head Records and Temporary Residence. Finally, Pelican are currently working on a new full-length, which should consist of seven songs. The band expects to begin recording the album in February. As for live shows, the band will be playing four shows with Envy and Malady next week. Here are the dates: 1/20 Chicago IL @ Bottom Lounge 1/21 Iowa City IA @ Gabe's Oasis 1/22 Madison WI @ Univ. Of Wisconsin 1/23 Minneapolis MN @ Triple Rock Social Club
