Boy Sets Fire to begin work on album

Boy Sets Fire look to begin the pre-production process for their next album in January. The group expects to select a studio and producer for the album in the very near future as well. Here's what BSF bassist Robert Ehrenbrand says about the new material: "As you can imagine we can't wait to go ahead and finally throw these songs down. We have about 25 to 30 songs and will have to decide which ones will end up on the record. They are all very different and unique little bastards and I guess there will be a couple of real surprises on the next CD for you as well as for us. We really tried over the course of the last year to be as open as possible to whatever we felt at the time musically without watering down the essence of this band, but instead finding this essence in different places, which, in my case, was what first drew me to a record like 'The Day The Sun Went Out.' I think this upcoming release has the potential to be a real emotional roller coaster and I can't wait for you to hear it." In related news, the band expects to resume touring in April.
