The Southeast's eminent metal/hardcore outfit, Dying Whale, is poised to ignite the scene once again with their latest sonic onslaught. The band proudly announces the release of their blistering new single, "Calloused Coma".

Recorded by Lee Dyess (Evergreen Terrace, From First to Last, Mayday Parade) and Kyle Westin, mixed and mastered by Adam Cichocki (Gatherers / Soul Blind / Kaonashi). Accompanying this auditory assault is an equally electrifying music video directed by Michael Wise.

Vocalist/Guitarist Matthew Zagorski had this to say about the song:

This was one of the first tracks we worked on when becoming a two piece. It was recorded to be included on an earlier release but it just didn't feel right at the time. So we rearranged it to slap harder as a two piece and couldn't be happier with this new version that's coming out today.

Zagorski had this to say about the video:

We were looking to make a performance video with no frills. Just set up in an abandoned trailer that was filled with worms and mold and get to shooting.
