The Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Ben Weinman is now in the coffee business

Ben Weinman, co-founder and guitarist of The Dillinger Escape Plan, has ventured into the coffee world with the opening of a new community spot in Flemington, NJ. Collaborating with his partner, Valentina Killough, Weinman has announced the launch of Alkemy Coffee Co. and invited supporters to follow their journey on Instagram.

In one of their initial posts, they shared:

More than a cafe 🔮 We're brewing something magical for your mind, body, and soul — handcrafted coffee drinks, custom medicinal tea blends, wellness events, live music, and a space to sip, work and relax in good company 👀 Keep an eye out for grand opening details coming soon!

Also of note, the coffee served at this spot is roasted by Golden Lantern Coffee Roasters, which is co-owned by Misha Mansoor from Periphery.

On his personal account Weinman shared:

For those of you who have not heard, my partner and I, @awakenedaromatherapy , are opening a community spot in our hometown of Flemington, NJ. Please go follow @alkemycoffeeco for more info. Our opening is gonna be heavy!!!!! Hopefully, we don't get shut down before we make it to week two after that one 🤘😬😄 I'm hoping this spot will be a place where I can meet many of you who have been my virtual friends for so long. Oh, and here is a little tidbit, our coffee is roasted by @goldenlanterncoffeeroasters which is co-owned by our long-time friend and tour-mate @mishaperiphery from @periphery ! Stuff is damn good. Maybe one day we will do some MathDjentJams over there together.
