Kittie release first new single "Eyes Wide Open" in 13 years and premiere official music video

Canadian metal outfit Kittie have released their new  single, "Eyes Wide Open" as well as premiered an official music video.  This marks the bands first studio recorded music since their 2011 release, I've Failed You and their first release with Sumerian Records

The band also shared another new song, "Vultures" back in 2023 while performing at Sick New World.

Over the last 13 years, the band did release a live album, Origins/Evolutions, to go along with their documentary on the history of the band. The current line-up includes founding members/sisters Morgan Lander (vocals/guitars/piano) and Mercedes Lander (drums/vocals) and new bandmates Tara McLeod (lead guitar) and Ivana "Ivy" Jenkins (bass).

The band shared the following on the new music:

Our first new material in 13 years, 'Eyes Wide Open' is a vision quest for truth," vocalist-guitarist Morgan Lander commented of the single. "It is a torch lit in the darkness of ignorance to reveal one's true motives. 'Eyes Wide Open' is a lesson in trust, betrayal and ultimately the ability to see behind the curtain to reveal all. It was one of the first songs we wrote, coming together again after a long time away from creating, and I think you can really hear the fires reigniting in this track.

Terrible band since day one but the singer looks great.

Kittie is eons better than any other female fronted or full female hardcore band in the last 10 years. Thats not saying much, but its a fact.

If I had to choose between seeing Scowl, YOTK, Anxious, or insert trans fronted bands...Kittie actually is good live. Saw them on a SPIT tour off date at birch hill in NJ and Pantera came out out to support and they played a few songs with them. It was lit

If Kittie toured with Scars of Tomorrow, would you go?

I think the song is decent. Easyhateoven loves my dick and we had buttsex in Buckhead,GA one night.

I aslo have good information that he is my anon stalker. All the hate he is spewing towards me is the guilt he is holding within his black emo filled cardiac muscle.

"I'm bummed that this isn't a Creed cover" You're obviously a complete poser since thats not the name of the Creed song you're thinking of.
