Ingested unveil full-length details ft Sylosis and Chimaira members, release new music video

Ingested 24

UK-based death metal powerhouse, Ingested, is set to release their upcoming full-length studio album, The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams, on April 5th through Metal Blade Records.

The album features guest appearances from Mark Hunter of Chimaira and Josh Middleton of Sylosis, adding an extra layer of depth to their sound. Pre-orders for the album are available in various formats and color variants, listed below.

Ingested recently released the first single, "Paragon Of Purity," alongside a music video.

The band noted:

Ashes… was constructed in the COVID period, and the mood of that album definitely reflects that time. With The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams, we wanted to bring the energy up a bit. As much as we like what we did with Ashes…, its depressive tone isn't something we wanted to continue to explore quite as much. There are definitely some dark moments on …Tide…, but for the most part, we took a more upbeat approach to the songs this time round.

Guitarist Sean Hynes explains the lyrics behind the track:

It's about loving what we do, how hard we've worked for it, and the support we have from our families back home. Missing them and being on the road is hard, but we couldn't do it without them.

INGESTED's The Tide Of Death And Fractured Dreams will be released on CD, digitally, and LP in the following color variants:

Pulverised Viridian (US)
Wounded Scarlet (US)
Sapphire Shards (EU)
Empty Crimson (EU - ltd. 500)
Shattered Harlequin (EU - ltd. 500)
