Exodus performed last night in in New Kensington, PA at Perserving Underground and fans in attendance noticed that Exodus bassist Jack Gibson was not in the line up and that Darkest Hour's Mike Schleibaum was.

Today, Exodus frontman Gary Holt took to his instagram to inform questioning fans of the situation. Gibson left the tour early to attend to a personal family emergency. Holt also would clarify that he will sit out the remaining show scheduled for 2023, but made a point to say that there is no replacing Gibson.

Holt's message read as followed:

In case people were wondering where our brother Jack Gibson was last night, he had to leave the tour for a family emergency, family first. We have his back all ways and always. So last night as well as the remaining three shows the low end is being handled by our brother @theriffdojo , who has been studying like a madman these last few days to learn the set. He did a killer job last night and it'll be heavy as fuck , like always. There's no replacing Jack, he's one of one. But for the remainder he is where he needs to be. Our thoughts and hearts are with our brother now🤘🏻
Send your positive vibes his way❤️

Wishing Jack Gibson all the best. Great tour. Show in long island was awesome.

Rumor has it, he left for more fresh fish. Again, this is only a rumor.

The most hated man in Philly.

"Exodus bassist Jack Gibson leaves tour will not rejoin the band in 2023" Maybe use a comma or an "and" or something so this headline isn't just run-on nonsense. I can't believe this shit needs to be explained.

LOL at the grammar nazi. Did a run on sentence hurt your feelings?

anonymous 215 days ago

He knew he had to see loser AJ and decided to quit the tour.

I didn't write that comment, but improper English hurts my feelings.

Wishing him and his family the best. Protect metal lifers.

anonymous 215 days ago

has he been in the band for almost a decade?

What's the fish thing actually about? It's dumb.

anonymous 215 days ago

The fish thing is really dumb and whoever is posting it thinks he's a riot.

Is Jay Weinberg available?

Gary Holt is not the "frontman", whatever the hell that means, of Exodus. He plays guitar, fool.

"Today, Exodus frontman Gary Holt" Good God, you're fucking terrible.

LOL at the grammar nazi. Did a run on sentence hurt your feelings? I bet you're one of those people who get mad when they hear people speaking languages other than English in the US, yet couldn't execute proper grammar and English if your trailer park depended on it.

I'd leave permanently when I realized the people in and around the band thought Exodus should be on tour with FFAA and Darkest Hour.

AJ ta Facewreck here. We stole his guarantee. Bitch ran home. I don't even own a home. Just multiple record stores. BFL forever.

Why on Earth was Exodus playing Preserving Underground - slumming it? LOL @ bands saying that venue is in Pittsburgh PA when it's not. That's like saying New York NY when the show is in White Plains NY.

anonymous 214 days ago

Does it matter? It's western PA, it's all shit.

Gary Holt is not the "frontman", whatever the hell that means, You don't know what frontman means or you've never heard that? You're retarded enough to write for this site!
