Mindforce's Jay Petagine handles crowd killing stagediver during recent Montreal show

Jay Petagine, the lead singer of New York crossover group Mindforce, recently addressed a behavior trend at hardcore shows that he disapproves of. Specifically, he expressed frustration with stage divers who, instead of jumping back into the crowd, rush the stage and punch down on the audience.
During the band's performance on November 19th at Foufoune Electrique in Montreal, QC, Petagine confronted this behavior onstage. He took direct physical action, kicking and pushing the audience member who exhibited the behavior back into the pit.
Petagine would go on to tweet about the exchange after the show, calling the concert goers actions "mad soft".
In the following days, a video of the show was posted by YouTube user Crowd Control Media, and you can watch the event unfold in real-time at 21:40.
Later in the video below, Petagine can be heard on stage saying:
You know that fucking move where somebody gets up here and punches everybody in the face singing along, that shit is soft. That shit is soft. Get the fuck in there [the pit].
