Godflesh, Meshuggah, Animals As Leaders guitarists make Rolling Stone's 250 all time greats list

On Friday, Rolling Stone released their list of the Top 250 guitarists of all time. 

Among the list was your standard fare and music fans have spent the weekend debating where certain musicians landed on the list or who was left off. 

For metal fans, legends like Dimebag Darrell (#131), Kerry King (#100) and James Hetfield/Kirk Hammett (#23) of course made the list, but a few names gave recognition to the more extreme side of metal.
