Official press release:
MouthBreather have shared "Imaginary Skin," the latest single from their fourth album, Self-Tape, set for release November 10th on Good Fight Music. Following "You Try To Die" and "Ethical Hunting," the track leans into the band's metallic hardcore side, putting a futuristic spin on the genre. "Imaginary Skin" is a punch to the gut with relentless vocals, spine-chilling guitars, and a reverberating breakdown. The lyrics to the song were inspired by the 2008 psychological horror film Martyrs, tying into the album's concept of each track being influenced by a different movie.
