Pantera drops off Aftershock 2023, Stone Temple Pilots to replace them

Unfortunately, it has been announced that Pantera will not be gracing the stage as the Saturday headliner at the upcoming Aftershock 2023 music festival, scheduled to be held from October 5th to 8th at Discovery Park in Sacramento, CA. 

In a statement released by the band they said:

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will be unable to perform at this years edition of Aftershock next month.

This event is monumental and it pains us to have to miss it. We will however be back for Aftershock 2024!

A sincere thank you to Danny Wimmer Presents as well as all the fans around the globe who've supported the 2023 Pantera celebration.

We will see you all at Louder Than Life this weekend and Aftershock next year!

To fill the void in the lineup, Stone Temple Pilots have stepped in as a replacement on Thursday, October 5th, joining the impressive roster that includes TOOL, Avenged Sevenfold, Turnstile, Parkway Drive, and many others for the weekend's festivities.
