Somebody brought a Golden Retriever into the Motionless In White mosh pit

MIW Dog

At a Motionless In White show on Saturday, September 16 at the Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA it appears someone brought Golden Retriever into the mosh pit.

A video shot by a fan on TikTok shows the dog being lifted up by the crowd moving in motion to the song. It isn't clear if the dog was let in as a service animal, though it does not appear the Golden Retriever was wearing any ear protection.

While humans can hear frequencies up to 20,000 Hz, dogs typically have a much wider range, up to 47,000 to 65,000 Hz. According to the American Kennel Club, when sounds are between 3,000 and 12,000 Hz in frequency, dogs' ears are far more sensitive than ours, and can hear those sounds when they are between -5 dB and -15 dB quieter on average.
