Seattle's Himsa have been writing material for their next full-length as of late. According to the group, "Writing for the new LP is going very well and the band has several new songs that are proving to be some of our favorites so far." Pre-production for the album will begin shortly after the band returns home from their upcoming stint on the Headbangers Ball tour, where they will likely be playing several of their new songs. In related news, work has been progressing on the DVD that Himsa have been producing in recent weeks. A show in Seattle was taped for the live DVD in late-August, footage of which consists of five camera angles. The DVD, which is entitled "You've Seen TOo Much," will also feature unreleased versions of two songs, tour footage, photos, and commentary. You can view a teaser for the DVD here. Finally, details are still being worked out for another Himsa Christmas show at Graceland in Seattle.
