Dying Wish reveal "Lost In The Fall" from upcoming 'Symptoms of Survival' record
Portland's Dying Wish have announced their latest album, Symptoms of Survival, set to release on November 3 through SharpTone Records. Produced by Randy LeBoeuf, the album is available for pre-order now.
Accompanying this news, the group has shared the music video for their song "Lost in the Fall." Set amidst a storm, the video captures the band's performance amplified by lead singer Emma Boster.
Boster explains that the song explores the gradual unraveling of friendships and relationships over time, urging listeners to accept the inevitable and let go.
'Lost in the Fall' is written about the natural untangling of a friendship or a relationship with someone over time," Boster says. "It's about letting go of control and accepting your fate and failure in love. Imagine the feeling in your throat and gut when you know things are coming to an end. Surrender to that feeling and face the direction of moving on.
"Lost in the Fall" follows the band's previous single "Watch My Promise Die".
Dying Wish has also announced an extensive fall tour schedule, with vocalist Emma Boster currently recovering from a freak exploding shower door accident that left the singer with severed tendons in her arm.
