KEN mode share new single "These Wires" from upcoming album, 'VOID'
Canadian noise quartet KEN mode have released "These Wires," the latest single from their upcoming album, VOID. This album acts as a sequel to their previous release, NULL. Following a similar theme, VOID explores the disappointment and sadness that followed the chaotic period captured in NULL.
The band's frontman, Jesse Matthewson, expressed:
Why would anything feel right again? Do you get the sense that a lot of people have been
fundamentally damaged by the pandemic? The psychological fallout of this event is going to be
seen for years to come, and this is its anthem.
The album is set to be released on September 22nd via Artoffact Records. In support of the new album, KEN mode will embark on a European tour, sharing the stage with Fange and Lingua Ignota, before heading to the US for shows with Baroness.
The band will also be performing at the Decibel Metal & Beer Fest in Denver.
