Tactosa reveal latest single ft Elysia vocalist Zak Vargas

Official press release:
Tampa old-school deathcore youngsters Tactosa mark the arrival of the revival with a co-sign from legendary Myspace-era band Elysia, whose vocalist Zak Vargas guests on "The Bleeding Machine."
The feature is Vargas' first time doing vocals in this style since Elysia's cult classic debut Masochist. (Well, he guested on "Decaying Waste" by Knights of the Abyss the following year, but who's keeping score when it's been 16+ years?)
Tactosa's new single shows why they were able to pull Vargas out of core-tirement and make fans of trailblazers Suicide Silence, as well as modern scene leaders like Bodysnatcher and even Fit for a King. It's the kind of raw aggression channeled through deceptively catchy songwriting that secured their slot on this Dying Fetus' fall headliner, alongside Despised Icon, The Acacia Strain and Creeping Death. Vocalist Kyle Weeden shared:
The Bleeding Machine' is a bleak, nihilistic commentary on the powers that seek to hold down every person's will. We're all trapped in this machine together, consuming lies that poison and drain life. Though we're but mere gears in the overall apparatus, we can fight back with open eyes and a venomous tongue.
Zak was the perfect vocalist to add to this, both through the raw anger of his voice and the fact that Elysia's Masochist is filled with sociopolitical commentary. It's no shock that we're fond of early deathcore's blazing aggression; with this song we hope to continue spewing it across the scene, while also providing an insight into a key player in its development. It will be an honor to turn even one fan onto Elysia, who had previously turned us into proponents of deathcore at large.
