Metal group Bad Wolves have been awarded RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications for their 2018 singles "Hear Me Now" and "Zombie." The band's guitarist, Doc Coyle, expressed thanks for the recognition, saying that the band's hard work and talent were the driving forces behind the accolades.

"Zombie" gained widespread attention as a cover of the hit song by The Cranberries. That song has now been certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA. A Platunum certification signifies 1,000,000 certified units.

"Hear Me Now," an original song by the band, has now been certified Gold, or 500,000 certified units, marking the second certification the band has received in the states.

Each permanent digital download counts as 1 unit for certification purposes, while 150 on-demand audio and/or video streams count as 1 unit for certification purposes.

Guitarist Doc Coyle stated:

Just found out that @badwolvesofficial "Hear Me Now" went Gold. Our 2nd in the states ("Zombie" is 3x platinum) and our first for an original song, so it's a huge accomplishment for the band. I really can't take any credit. I'm lucky to be around such talented and hard working people.
