Graysea release Will Putney mixed/mastered EP, along with music video ft Aaron Gillespie (Underoath)

Graysea

Milwaukee, Wisconsin mathcore outfit Graysea have released their new five-track EP today, Weight In the Water, which was mixed and mastered by Will Putney of END and Fit For an Autopsy, along with five music videos to boot. Their track "Save Face" features Aaron Gillespie of Underoath.

You can find the full album premiere via Mathcore Index and watch music videos for all five tracks below.

The band commented on the album:

"Weight In The Water focuses mostly on broken relationships with significant others, family, and even the death of pets. Songs like Worth/Less, Manipulation, and Abandon Meant call to attention the feelings of loneliness, emptiness, and self doubt when a long standing relationship comes to an end. Abandon Meant also doubles down on those uncomfortable feelings with the addition of that person not being there for the death of a once shared pet. Less Than Three <3 asks the questions about how you can no longer mean something to someone who said you meant everything to them. And Save Face talks about relationship issues with parents generally, and specifically relationship issues with a father. Aaron Gillespie has openly written songs and talked about his own issues with his father and we knew he would be a perfect addition to the mood of this song. He wrote his own lyrics for his part and you can tell he truly believed in the message. Save Face as a song is slower, more melodic, and was intentionally placed on this EP to add a shock factor to the beginning of EP 3, but that bridge will be crossed when the time comes."
