The Ongoing Concept announce tour, share new single

the ongoing concept 2023

Official press release:

The Ongoing Concept are back! The band has announced its fourth album Again, out March 31 via Solid State Records. Pre-order it here.

Not only is this the first taste of new music from the band since 2017 but it also marks the return of the original lineup. Today, the band has shared another new single with "Feel Again."

Guitarist/Vocalist Dawson Scholz shared the following:

'Feel Again' was the first song we started writing and ended up taking the longest to finish," says Dawson. "We were all rusty from not writing together in years, and this song really brought us all back and jump-started our creative flow. There was a lot of growing up and healing that happened between the time the original guys left and when they returned, and this song really showcases that, lyrically. It really brought us all closer, and showed us all how much we have matured over the years and how much we missed creating art through our music.

To the queef that called them "Trust fund core": They have literally built their own instruments (like...chopped down the tree, milled the wood, cut and constructed their guitars and drums). They have recorded their own music, and up until this latest record, mixed their own stuff as well. They have filmed their own music videos, and evem built the sets on a few of them. They have gone the DIY route on almost everything they've done as a band. If you don't like the music, that's fine, but calling them "trust fund core" is about the dumbest thing you could attempt to apply to this particular band. But of course, this is Lambgoat, so I shouldn't expect any better than the lowest IQ takes from 99% of the comment section.

It's true what they say....Lambgoat comments are a dumpster fire. Screw y'all, this band is one of the hardest working DIY bands out there. I've loved all the 3 of their singles, and I'm stoked for the record.
