Spiritbox drops out of the Popular Monster tour

Spiritbox

Jonathan Weiner

Rumors of Spiritbox withdrawing from their upcoming Popular Monster tour with Falling In Reverse have been swirling over the last few days. Today, just six days after the official tour announcement, the band officially announced they are no longer taking part in the six shows they were scheduled to perform on.

The Popular Monster tour features Falling In Reverse headlining and Ice Nine Kills providing support. Throughout the trek, the tour will feature special guests Underoath, Slaughter To Prevail, Crown The Empire, and Catch Your Breath.

Though no official word has been given as to why the band has dropped off the arena tour, one could assume it MAY be due to allegations against the Falling In Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke. How will this affect the rest of the tour or bands participating in the tour? We will have to wait and see.

Straight up Bidencore

You could watch Ghost Geometry or Descending Backwards at some crapfest, or check out "Thirteen Bled Promises" who actually play metal from Spain. Dealers choice.

"The necklace shit has got to stop." FACTS

Props to the lady in this band for refusing to tour with that scumbag Ronnie Radke. A big FU CK YOU to the women in Year Of The Knife, Scowl, Gel, Spaced, Anklebiter & Dying Wish for cowardly still supporting Regulate (r@peulate.)

anonymous 86 days ago

Good for them changing their mind after the backlash from the community. They aren't morally compromised at all. This band f*cking slaps.

anonymous 86 days ago

Spiritbox x Emmure would be much more lucrative. Not a joke. I'd pay a solid $50 to see it.

anonymous 86 days ago

They aren't morally compromised? Their bass player is from As I Lay Dying. They've been compromised. They should get the old guy back he seemed alright. They look the same. Should be an easy transition.

anonymous 86 days ago

Love all the bottomfeeders piling on Spiritbox. Yeah, that female-fronted band doesn't want to tour with scumbags, deal with it.

anonymous 86 days ago

A big FU CK YOU to the women in Year Of The Knife, Scowl, Gel, Spaced, Anklebiter & Dying Wish for cowardly still supporting Regulate (ra peulate.) Add Code Orange too.

I was backstage at a spiritbox concert and the chic singer took off her stage shoes and the whole room smelled like vinegar.

anonymous 85 days ago

Cancel Necklaces, not tours.

anonymous 85 days ago

Way back in 97-98' I got hustled into buying a fake gold chain for $40 before Hatebreed which was lost shortly after the show…wish I still had that relic. I back the necklace trend!

anonymous 85 days ago

Whole tour is FAKE AND GAY

anonymous 85 days ago

They should get War on Women on this

anonymous 85 days ago

This tour is actually larger than Mastodon level. dumb move. they will forever be playing VFW halls with AILD

anonymous 85 days ago

This is why a woman doesn't belong in a band unless the dudes are their guardians...assuming the dudes aren't cucks. She likely bitched at them to withdraw because of her feeeewings. Women ruin everything.

anonymous 85 days ago

"anonymous 3 hours ago Props to the lady in this band for refusing to tour with that scumbag Ronnie Radke." You correctly note that the woman f*cked it all up for the the two other members of the band. Again why women need to be controlled and cucks like you need to be kept out of the scene for being such a scared girl.

anonymous 85 days ago

Lmao, Spiritbox didn't "refuse to tour" with Radke, they signed on to the tour, based on their size they likely had plenty of options and were happy to get the money and exposure, none of the Radke stuff (which seems to comprise a parole violation and accusations where he's found innocent) is new. They only backed out because they're spineless nerds who don't even have enough integrity to stand behind a decision and tell tumblr feminists and their simps to f*ck off. What's the point of being a big, overhyped band like Spiritbox if you're gonna let a handful of twitter users make your decisions?

rick____tocchet 85 days ago

Good. Hopefully this trend of canceling tours continues. Fat girls that get out of breath and lightheaded walking up 2 flights of stairs unite!!!

anonymous 85 days ago

nice

anonymous 85 days ago

"Women are bosses and bad ass bishes! How dare you say we're easy to emotionally manipulate and that we buckle under peer pressure to please the herd" - women "You'd better not play that show because we say so!" "Ok! I'm sorry! I'll do what you say" - also women

anonymous 85 days ago

If 15 years ago I had made a joke like "If we let more women in hardcore all it would turn into is a bunch of bands refusing to play shows because somebody hurt their feelings and passive aggressive gossip" that would've been considered a sexist hack joke and yet here we are.

anonymous 7 hours ago Love all the bottomfeeders piling on Spiritbox. Yeah, that female-fronted band doesn't want to tour with scumbags, deal with it. lol is this S-tier satire? broads hated being categorized into "female fronted" until they realized the woke mob would sTaN them for having a chick and a black trans. side note: wonder why none of these bands have a chick on lead guitar

anonymous 85 days ago

Ronnie Radke here. I'm like 5'10" and 140 lbs. 8 went to prison once. Ever wonder how that worked out for me once the lights went out?

anonymous 85 days ago

Ronnie r@peke

anonymous 85 days ago

What happened with the dudes in Regulate? Also, women who grow out their armpit hair should stop.

NorthFromHere 85 days ago

anonymous 30 minutes ago side note: wonder why none of these bands have a chick on lead guitar Reba Meyers and Code Orange say hi. Also the woke police poster you were talking to above has being flipping out about them too.

anonymous 85 days ago

A decade ago the drummer of Regulate hooked up with a girl, asked for a blowjob, she said no, he left and then she made a big tumblr post about it and weenies have been calling him a predator ever since

anonymous 85 days ago

That Reba broad from Chode Orange is a terrible guitarrist. It's actually embarassing to see her playing.

What's the point of being a big, overhyped band like Spiritbox if you're gonna let a handful of twitter users make your decisions? I think you've probably nailed exactly what happened. Still think Courtney is a great vocalist but she's obsessed with what social media thinks about her. She had a meltdown on Instagram during the George Floyd happening and I unfollowed her. And she completely dominates her husband.

anonymous 85 days ago

Name me one band that's better because they have female members. *tumbleweeds*

anonymous 85 days ago

what the f*ck happened to this site? open misogyny is cool all of a sudden? what the f*ck is going on?

anonymous 85 days ago

Radke seems like the guy who low key blows dudes in gas station bathroom glory holes. He just gives off that vibe

anonymous 85 days ago

Name me one band that's better because they have female members. *tumbleweeds* ^ Fleetwood Mac

anonymous 85 days ago

Treating Women as responsible for their choices just like you would men? When did all this misogyny show up?

anonymous 85 days ago

^life of agony

anonymous 85 days ago

So brave of them. Underoath would never drop off this

anonymous 85 days ago

Woman here. This is gay as f*ck.

anonymous 85 days ago

Can all these woke chicks in bands come together with Sarah McLachlan and start up lilith fair again so we can keep an eye on them and guys can tour without living in fear of being canceled

anonymous 85 days ago

what the f*ck happened to this site? open misogyny is cool all of a sudden? what the f*ck is going on? has open misogyny ever been not cool?

anonymous 85 days ago

If 15 years ago I had made a joke like "If we let more women in hardcore all it would turn into is a bunch of bands refusing to play shows because somebody hurt their feelings and passive aggressive gossip" that would've been considered a sexist hack joke and yet here we are. ^ Women reduce everything to slander, gossip, materialism, and genitals. The internet is now just a miserable middle aged women's coffee morning, and social media is a fat 14 year old girl's diary. Our grandfathers didn't need to listen to any of their constant screaming because back then male and female spaces were still quite well defined... but now we can't escape it because they've infected every facet of entertainment, work, school, politics, etc.

anonymous 85 days ago

How much do you bet she took the tour just to drop off of it for the press?

anonymous 85 days ago

"anonymous 56 minutes ago what the f*ck happened to this site? open misogyny is cool all of a sudden? what the f*ck is going on?" Most people are getting sick of women needing to be involved and ruining everything. We ain't even married to these hoes but we're stuck with this domestic shit

anonymous 85 days ago

"Ronnie Radke here. I'm like 5'10" and 140 lbs" Surprisingly, he's bigger the you'd expect. At least 6'2. I'd like to see him and Alpha Tim duke it out.

anonymous 85 days ago

Spiritbox is awesome. If the price were right (and they weren't too far), I would've bought a ticket to see Spiritbox and Ice Nine Kills. Then I'd leave before Falling in Reverse got on stage. As far as this topic - Falling in Reverse can surely find some other band; I'm sure someone will want the exposure and money that comes from opening for Falling in Reverse and INK. Then we can move on. Spiritbox is also a Canadian band, and the politics up there are quite left (the lead singer of Spiritbox has made her woke views known before). So anyone booking Spiritbox in the future can keep their politics in mind

anonymous 85 days ago

Interesting new twist to this whole thing, Spiritbox chick has a guest spot on the new Crown the Empire record

anonymous 85 days ago

BELIEVE ALL WOMEN (even if they have a penis)!!!

anonymous 85 days ago

"BELIEVE ALL WOMEN (even if they have a penis)!!!" LOLd.

anonymous 85 days ago

why did they accept this tour in the first place? it's not like Radke's shit isn't public knowledge. where is the woke mob giving her shit for hiring a dude that enabled a guy that murdered his wife to make a go at it again?

anonymous 85 days ago

^^^ How did the bassist "enable" attempted murder?

anonymous 85 days ago

^^^^^ by actually doing the band with him again. should have told him to f*ck off for ruining their careers

anonymous 85 days ago

FIR is the biggest they have ever been, look at the numbers they have been doing lately. Most bands at it for 15 years in that genre have already broken up and came back for a reunion tour.

anonymous 85 days ago

Thank you! The scene needs more allies!!! We must empower women and eradicate abusers (white men)

wouldn't music be safer for women if no women were allowed to play in bands and go to shows with men? and vice versa? It seems like women are in constant danger. We need to protect them.

anonymous 85 days ago

They claim to have learned about ronnie on the chorus.fm (absolutepunk.net) forum and then they dropped https://forum.chorus.fm/threads/accountability-in-music.33410/page-585

anonymous 85 days ago

what a bunch of little tattle tales

anonymous 85 days ago

Punk Rock MBA here. Check out my new video on Ronnie Radke as I desperately cling on to "relevancy." I'm in my 40s but Zoomers think I'm cool.

anonymous 85 days ago

They didn't give a f*ck about his prior accusations. I always find it interesting that these accusations come out before a tour or album.

anonymous 85 days ago

" They claim to have learned about ronnie on the chorus.fm (absolutepunk.net) forum and then they dropped https://forum.chorus.fm/threads/accountability-in-music.33410/page-585" Wow, A thread full of losers trying to hold people they never meet accountable. I've never seen a bigger self righteous circle jerk.

anonymous 84 days ago

I was backstage at a spiritbox concert and the chic singer took off her stage shoes and the whole room smelled like vinegar. ^please, my nipples can only get so hard

anonymous 84 days ago

"They didn't give a f*ck about his prior accusations. I always find it interesting that these accusations come out before a tour or album." It's because some jilted ex can't stand that the guy who blew them off is getting positive attention. Classic female narcissism. Same thing happens when one of their "friends" gets married or has a baby.

anonymous 84 days ago

large band cries and drops out of money-making tour, meaning no income for any of the members or crew, all because some scene broad throws an allegation out there. seems legit.

anonymous 82 days ago

Some of the comments on here are absolutely abhorrent, not to mention degrading and dehumanizing to women. Y'all belong in 1953, not 2023. Also, I'm very proud of Spiritbox for voicing their decision. You couldn't give me a million dollars to tour with someone like Radke.

anonymous 82 days ago

^ Go back to simping on twitter, hoping that one of these girls will take pity on you and f*ck you for being such a good ally before claiming it was nonconsensual
