Carnifex head to studio this month to complete ninth album

Deathcore act Carnifex are nearing completion of 9th studio LP writing sessions.
Frontman Scott Ian Lewis announces band's studio entry on February 15 with producer Jason Suecof (Trivium, All That Remains) on production duties. This will mark the band's first full-length release since adding ex-DevilDriver guitarist Neal Tiemann to the lineup in the previous year.

Lewis shared the following via his Instagram:
Writing for record ni9e is nearly done 💀 Amazing riffing and songwriting from @nealfingtiemann @theshawncameron @buddhafex & @furdycal. A collection of truly brutal and anthemic @carnifex songs that I know will become new favorites. The album is titled, lyrics are over half done and we will be in the studio with @jason_suecof starting Feb 15th for about 5 weeks. Live drums are back, epic solos are back, the next evolution of CFX is here. Hold on tight 💀🖤
