On Friday the retired hardcore group Bane posted an image of a "B" in red font on a black background leaving fans wondering what it meant. Bane played their "final" show in 2016, however in 2021 we saw the group reunite for one night to perform at the benefit show for Brendan "Stu" Maguire alongside Sick Of It All, H20, and Bouncing Souls.
Today the band again uploaded another photo to their social media, but this time it is the "A" in red font on black background.
What does it mean? No idea. However, if the posts keep on schedule they will spell out Bane by Monday. Maybe then we will find out what they are teasing. New music? New tours? Will they join the list of bands to reunite at this year's Furnace Fest?
I guess we will find out at the beginning of next week.

Obviously the next two letters will be N and E for the word Bane & the band officially announcing they're back for the last time before the next return. Quite simply Bane are coming back because Aaron Bedard, a 52 year old man once arrested for domestic abuse & who once said Lolita three times when asked what his favorite movie is, cannot make it with anything else but Bane. He couldn't make it with Antagonize his now gone band he did after Bane, cutting hair, or DJing. He knows Bane can pay the rent on his overpriced crummy apartment just outside Boston. Bane subsidizes his meager non-Bane life. It allows him to have a no to low skill job which is all he is qualified for. So it makes all the sense in the world that he'd do Bane again - what else can he do? And again, he's 52.
Bottom line is an annual Bane show at The Palladium outdoors will pay Bedard's rent for the year. He's doing it strictly for the money & so he doesn't have to work a job which requires any skill.

Surprised no one mocking them for dropping some foreign made Euro documentary about BANE as well. I remember Bedard describing it like it was some opera or symphony or something .
