Metallica release second '72 Seasons' single

Ross Halfin

Metallica has now released the second single, "Screaming Suicide" from their upcoming album, 72 Seasons, which is due out April 14. The first single, "Lux Æterna", was shared along with the album announcement back in late November. The band has also announced a tour in support of the album, in which they're taking along Pantera, MammothWVH, Five Finger Death Punch, and Ice Nine Kills.

The band says of the track:

"'Screaming Suicide' addresses the taboo word of suicide. The intention is to communicate about the darkness we feel inside. It's ridiculous to think we should deny that we have these thoughts. At one point or another, I believe most people have thought about it. To face it is to speak the unspoken. If it's a human experience, we should be able to talk about it. You are not alone."
