Youth Of Today joined on stage by Jack Kelly of Slapshot, covers SSD's "Glue"

Youth Of Today 2022

Jon Dohh

Last night Youth Of Today kicked off their short East Coast run at Middle East in Cambridge, MA. While on stage during the band's set vocalist Ray Cappo attempts to Facetime SSD's Al Barile, when Al does not answer the call Ray quickly asks for Jack "Choke" Kelly of Slapshot, who was in attendance, to join him on stage to cover SSD. The video below captures the attempted call and the group covering SDD's "Glue".

Here are a few more other videos from the performance as well. The footage was filmed and uploaded by The Jon Dohh Show on Youtube.

Sellouts still playing straight edge music, classic

anonymous 11/17/2022 9:27:11 AM

I once knew a guy who had a Slapshot tattoo on his neck but couldnt name a single song. This is a true story

anonymous 11/17/2022 9:30:11 AM

Jack Kelly being the only straight edge guy on that stage.

anonymous 11/17/2022 9:30:37 AM

How is this f*cking news?

anonymous 11/17/2022 9:33:37 AM

Sellouts? Why? Because they grew up and ditched the Peter Pan fantasy about being a "hardcore kid." Give it a rest - what are you - a 16 year old SxE 'true 'til death' commie?

Nothin' like some over-the-hill whiteboys from America that think they're monks. f*ck this gay earth.

Old school HC shows are so embarrassing these days. Zero energy from the crowd.

it's reunion season kids-time to buy up any & all the O.G. merch offerings from your "favorite bands" that you're unable to recite a single lyric to. Revival NEVER goes out of Style. Keep trying to represent like "you have been there all along."

anonymous 11/17/2022 12:56:07 PM

^You don't know music beyond the radio played in your retirement home you prehistoric f*ck

anonymous 11/17/2022 12:59:33 PM

The only people who care about youth of today are over 60 and really gay, or people who got into hardcore too many years too late and are also really gay

rick_tocchet 11/17/2022 1:37:01 PM

Straight edge was always corny as f*ck. Just because you cant get laid, cant handle your liquor and you are too poor to buy drugs doesnt mean you need to draw black X's on your hands and preach to everyone that you are better than everyone else.

anonymous 11/17/2022 1:43:51 PM

Everyone involved with this should be humiliated.

anonymous 11/17/2022 2:06:16 PM

Incels are yesterday's straight edge and equally as gay.

anonymous 11/17/2022 2:42:34 PM

Choke Kelly is a wannabe tough guy

anonymous 11/17/2022 9:45:02 PM

Rick Tocchet was always corny as f*ck. Just because you cant get laid, cant handle your liquor and you are too poor to buy drugs doesnt mean you need to draw black X's on your hands and preach to everyone that you are better than everyone else
