Dryad release new single

Iowa City, IA based black metal band Dryad are today premiering their new single, "Brine Pool Aberration," and its accompanying visualizer. "Brine Pool Aberration" is the second track to be taken from the group's forthcoming debut album, The Abyssal Plain, which is set for release via Prosthetic Records on January 20. Dryad dive further into thematic oceanic depths on "Brine Pool Aberration," offering up glimmers of hope through the darkness.

Speaking on the premiere, the band comments:

As the light fades, and one descends blindly into the blackened depths of the ocean, a glimmer of hope and madness both begin to take shape below. A seemingly impossible lake beneath an ocean, a dream within a dream. What illuminating horrors lie within the anoxic brine?
