Wage War release 'stripped' track, will join A Day To Remember on acoustic tour
Wage War has been on a path to prove their versatility, playing an impromptu acoustic set, and releasing "stripped" versions of their songs, with a full collection announced, The Stripped Sessions, coming soon. Additionally, A Day to Remember recently announced a US acoustic tour with support from Wage War (dates below).
The Florida hard rock quintet has now shared "Godspeed (Stripped)", a slightly countrified and twangy version of the original, which appears on 2021's Manic.
The band shared:
"'Godspeed' was one of our favorite songs off of Manic. As soon as we finished in the studio, we knew it need the 'Stripped' treatment. We always try to give each song its own unique style. Growing up in the South, the song naturally adopted a country flare. We hope everyone enjoys the first acoustic breakdown — that we know of."
As mentioned, Wage War will hit the road this December on the A Day to Remember acoustic theater tour.
