High On Fire has added former Melvins bassist Joe Preston to their lineup, replacing long-time bassist George Rice. Preston will make his live debut with High On Fire on August 4th in San Diego. In related news, the band will be entering Electrical Audio Studios with producer Steve Albini (Neurosis, Bloodlet) this fall to record their next album. Tentatively titled "Blessed Black Wings," the album is expected to hit stores in February 2005 via Relapse Records.
