Former Oath Keeper wears Descendents and Deftones merch to Jan. 6th hearing
Descendents had something to say about it, responded on Twitter
Today, July 12th was the seventh public hearing in The House Select Committee to Investigate the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C.
During the hearing, broadcast on C-SPAN, former Oath Keeper spokesperson Jason Van Tatenhove wore a black Descendents shirt and a red Deftones 'White Pony' pin.
In a statement posted to Twitter, Descendents said "We completely disavow groups like the Oath Keepers and in no way condone their hateful ideology."
According to an interview given to the Denver Post in February, Van Tatenhove was at one time the public face of the Oath Keepers, managing their social media presence. He has since left the group.

Post Commentman I hate it when oaths aren't kept, or are kept, I don't know. Unsure what this is.
First he pumped my gas while I was in Portland a few months back, now he's on TV. What a whirlwind life this is.
He seems like the sort of gentleman who has a knack for rugged prostate stimulation under duress.

master level troll on these stupid punk rock bands lol "We totally support the DC political establishment and this pompous blowhard joke of a soviet-style show trial." - Descendents (a "punk" rock band)
