Amon Amarth announce "Death Metal Raid of The Year"

The kings of Viking Metal, Amon Amarth, announce The Great Heathen Tour set for North America with support from Carcass, Obituary, & Cattle Decapitation this Fall. A full 27-date tour will conclude at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, CA.

This tour marks the first time in six years that Carcass has played a "proper tour" in the U.S. Vocalist/Bassist Jeff Walker had the following to say about the gap: 

"Carcass is looking forward to its first proper US Tour for...six years??? Can It really be that long??? We can't think of a stronger tour or killer line up for us to be part of......it's gonna be a RAGER!"

Amon Amarth's 12th album, The Great Heathen Army, is scheduled for release on August 5th through Metal Blade Records.
