As I Lay Dying drummer Jordan Mancino to skip upcoming tours due to 'ongoing internal issues'
As I Lay Dying drummer and co-founder Jordan Mancino has revealed that he will not participate in any of their upcoming tour dates due to "ongoing internal issues" within the band.
Mancino had the following to say:
"To all of our fans, my friends, family and supporters within the industry. There have been a number of ongoing internal issues with As I Lay Dying that need to be worked out. It was my wish to avoid any further touring until these issues were resolved. Since they have not yet been resolved, it is with a heavy heart that I announce I will not be performing on any upcoming tour dates until further notice. Thanks to all of you for your understanding."
Mancino's revelation comes just three weeks after bassist Josh Gilbert announced his departure from the band.

Post CommentThis is normal for any great band who has been around for a number of years (20+)… Tertiary members can't keep up with the tempo live and get replaced with superior talent (Ken Susi and Francis Mark - as I previously stated). Tim and Phil wrote all the lyrics and instrumentals on their records. HoB sized venues will still be filled, records will still crack the Billboard and merch/splatter vinyl flies off the shelf. they were inactive because of covid and the tribulations 2020 and 2021. they weren't hard up for money like other bands to rapid fire tour after and the new gigs on multiple continents is assuredly happening. Tim, Phil, Susi, the guy from MMI and chad ackerman is also touring on guitar and additional vox. it's actually going to be pretty alright. check back on it like in 2018 when you said he would never release another song.

As I Lay Dying was washed up before Tim got roided up and tried to have his wife bumped off by an undercover cop he paid money to and handed security codes to in a southern california barnes and noble. They were even more washed up when they came back. smaller venues. less album sales. couldn't move splatter vinyl. Tim had plenty of money for weights and arnold impersonators and his lush "Lambesis Studios". Made his wife and their adopted kids live in his parents guest house while he travelled the world and banged weight lifting groupies. No wonder she tried to leave him. wife number 2 got out once she realized he makes nothing when most of their money is going towards stage backdrops and pro-tools techs (plus all that child support for 18 ethiopian kids he adopted on wife #1) wife number 3 will last maybe 2 years until she gets a taste of the owner of rise above fitness and dumps his ass like even his lifelong bandmates are.
Live Nation Senior Vice President of Global Touring here. I can confirm that AILD shows have consistently failed to reach the break even point, and they have never collected in any potential split points. They are considered a flat rate guarantee band at this point.
