Post CommentThis is awesome. People who graduated high school after 1999 have shitty taste in music. Facts.
With Ian involved I thought he would force them to do some boring indie rock queer stuff, but this is pretty good
" With Ian involved I thought he would force them to do some boring indie rock queer stuff, but this is pretty good" IAN? Do all middle aged bald white men look alike to you? you fuc ki ng bigot!
It sounds like the singer needs to blow his nose or something. He is really biting the style of the nasally-NOFX sound.
Hey Ari Katz - first you look like Michael Stipe. Second remember when Lifetime sold out to be the next Fall Out Boy right down to putting out your sellout attempt on Pete Wentz's wackass "record label" & the record flopped? I do. Get lost.
But will Vitalos trustfund get them on SNL? >>> So you're saying he paid The Seth Meyers Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live & The Jimmy Fallon Show to book Turnstile?

Buy ons and paying to play is the name of the game. No executive is seeking out Turnstile to play their mainstream shows dude.
Beach Rats... right. Totally a cool name and very punk rock.
The only heavy conversations these guys are having involve colonoscopies and osteoporosis.

So how much would it cost to buy an appearance on Meyers, Kimmel, or Fallon? Ballpark figure is fine.
So you're saying he paid The Seth Meyers Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live & The Jimmy Fallon Show to book Turnstile? ^^ aren't those three completely interchangeable anyway lol
Turnstile can only go downhill from here. Remember their old favorite band's line? "No one stays at the top forever" This band won't go anywhere either
^^^ I agree for the simple fact that they formed in 2010, it took them a dozen years to finally appear on the late night talk shows, they needed Ceremony & Citizen to tour with them & they would've never sold out a 3000 capacity venue in Queens NY without a band who could easily draw 2000 on their own. Also why did they play The Palladium in Worcester when there's House Of Blues & Roadrunner in Boston? I could see Turnstile headlining 1500-2000 cap places for awhile but they'll still need support & I don't see them graduating to 3000 or bigger venues. Even 2000-2500 isn't much & flysh it relative to the mainstream music world. Factor in they lost their main songwriter Brady thanks to Vitalo (who they should fire) & their next album should be a step down from Glow On. People talk about this band like they're The Second Coming of Christ because look at hardcore in 2022. There isn't ONE hc band close to their size (Knocked Loose is metalcore who dress like hc kids.)
^^^ Seriously, look at This Is Hardcore 2022. Joe Hardcore needs all those bands to sell out the venue. Avenged Sevenfold alone could sell out a weekend there. My Chemical Romance draw more people ON A BAD NIGHT than that entire fest. I guess we could say Turnstile, Knocked Loose & Terror could sell out two nights if not three. Hardcore isn't "underground" again it's just not as strong as it used to be. It certainly isn't diverse. It's mostly fests & tour packages thus local scenes are not nurtured. Back in the day a headliner would tour the U.S. & at least one local would open. Thanks to Vitalo & others that's rare. Hardcore is run by basically four people: James Vitalo, Joe "Hardcore" McKay, Sam Yarmuth & booking agents.
25-50k range to book them but need to convince booking dept it's somehow gonna be a win for them to accept the offer.
25-50k range to book them but need to convince booking dept it's somehow gonna be a win for them to accept the offer. >> 75-150K to play Meyers, Kimmel & Fallon is nothing if you think about it. Some artists bank that with just a show or two. Turnstile probably banks that range with pay from just 4 to 7 shows. Anyone know Turnstile's guarantee? 20K vs. percentage?
The bottom line is bands whose members sexually assault women (Regulate), abuse women (Section H8) & hurt women (Life's Question) are playing This Is Hardcore Fest 2022.
Dude's who peepoo their adult diapers are stoked
