Greg Puciato (The Dillinger Escape Plan) premieres new solo track 'Never Wanted That'
Greg Puciato, most well-known for fronting The Dillinger Escape Plan, has shared the second single from his forthcoming album, Mirrorcell (due out July 1). New song "Never Wanted That" and its accompanying video are available below.
"This vid was a nice exercise in making do with what you have available to you, or the creative benefits of limitation," says Puciato of the Jim Louvau and Tony Aguilera directed video. "We filmed this in Baltimore, which was special to me, at like 3 a.m., while on the Cantrell tour. It was really the only time I had. We did multiple whole takes and this was the one. Jim and Tony, as usual, did an excellent job. At one point you can see me fuck up the words. I had to learn so many Cantrell songs that I forgot my own goddamned lyrics."

Post CommentOh, man. I saw Greg's face and read his name and thought he passed away too. Scared me for a second.
this dude just tries far too hard. no one likes his music, hopefully he gets the message soon instead of wasting his time.
I saw Greg at cvs getting his ninth booster wearing a fro mags shirt he said he hasn't heard from Ben in years and that Ben was trans now
Greg was amazing in Dillinger. He is not good in anything else.
greg was the downfall of dillinger, its not up for debate.
For a second I thought he died with the way the headline was written. Gladly he is not
Dimitri was good but Greg was great and they were better and more popular than ever from miss machine on
I'm kind of surprised that Greg hasn't become a full-time porn star like Evan Seinfeld.
anonymous 19 minutes ago Dimitri was good but Greg was great and they were better and more popular than ever from miss machine on let everyone know you're a pussy with out saying "i'm a pussy"
Even Dimitri said Greg was the better vocalist in Dillinger.
I wish Dillinger changed their name after he joined. They turned into a band that influenced legions of Hot Topic employees to start kooky metalcore bands that plagued this planet, and now plague our planet again for some awful reason.
Everyone who thinks Greg is a better vocalist than Dimitri are the same people who love Avenged Sevenfold and Motionless in White
Got worried when I saw his photo, glad he's still alive.
I am seconding that Greg was better for DEP than Dimitri. DEP would have never achieved what they did with Dimitri at the helm.
And I hate Avenged Sevenfold and Motionless, so eat that dick, son.
To those who are under the wrong opinion that Dimitri is better.... do your parents know you're trans?
how on earth was Dmitri better? because he just did one note monotone bellowing over and over again? Dmitri would have made that band a 2 or 3 album band at BEST if he stayed. Greg not only did Dmitri's stuff better but they did their best work with him. f*cking morons.
calculating infinity was a good song. not sure about this mike patton stuff though it kinda sucks. hope they find a good vocalist soon
I like old Dillinger better, but Greg definitely the better vocalist no doubt and took the band farther. I still liked them with Greg. But old Dillinger wins
Even the Mike Patton ep was good. Can understand why most don't care for it but its good
The people who prefer Greg are the type of people who prefer Norma Jean after Josh left. And remember, you can't take those people seriously
f*ck Sunny hate5six. All you do is point a camera you whiny ass pussy. You aren't a director. And your pontificating is annoying as f*ck
Thank God the people in Buffalo were vaxxed and boosted it could have been so much worse
This is actually good, i will listen to it on spotify.
Is he still laying pipe to that C-List porn actress or she dumped him?
NJ Bloodline was the worst NJ band in the history of NJ Bands. They make South Side Johnny look as genius as Ye.
I'm kind of surprised that Greg hasn't become a full-time porn star like Evan Seinfeld. Would pay good money to see Greg being dominated...
> NJ Bloodline was the worst NJ band in the history of NJ Bands. They make South Side Johnny look as genius as Ye.... f*ck you. shut your f*cking mouth. 'Take It Inside' is a great track
Trash as always. This clown has needs to go home, no one gives a f*ck
I wish Dillinger changed their name after he joined. They turned into a band that influenced legions of Hot Topic employees to start kooky metalcore bands that plagued this planet, and now plague our planet again for some awful reason. Dillinger didn't influence shit. No one under 30 even knows the name anymore. Good riddance.
I jacked it to his gf more than a few times in my life
How any self-respecting male can look at themselves in the mirror while dating a porn star is beyond my comprehension. You're literally kissing a chick who tongues random dudes butt-holes. Cuck Puciato.
I don't hate it. Oh and Dillinger Escape Plan might go down, along with Converge, as one of the MOST OVERRATED bands of all time.
Anyone got some NJ hardcore scene gossip? I'll go first… I heard about a Gangs of New York (movie) style brawl that was gonna go down at the Dillinger benefit show at the Manville Elks Lodge - the meatheads/thugs ie. Stickman/E-Town/FTLO/NJ Bloodline vs. Mouthpiece/Floorpunch/etc. In the end, whatever beef was squashed.
When wasn't there "beef" in Jersey? Fat Pat getting lumped up at a backyard show with E-Town, FTLO, and a few others. The vegan sxe kids vs. everyone else. Too much drama to keep up with.
anonymous 16 hours ago I heard he's bi. permalink | report abuse He sure sounds like it when he sings.
Dino here, you all have to stop calling Jenna Haze a C-list porn star. She is at worst a B-list. She is no Natasha Nice, but who is?
he sounds like whitfield crane singing over AIC songs. not bad, but not there yet
To those who are under the wrong opinion that Dimitri is better.... do your parents know you're trans? it sure beats sucking D*ck, just to pay my internet bill. -tough guy.
Greg is good dude, but he ruined Dillinger Escape Plan.

It's fine, but a little more AiC sounding than I think is necessary. The first single with Reba made total sense as a down the middle rock ballad but this track makes me wonder what's going on with this album. Greg's first recording had some weirder tracks, and I hope there is some of that on this album too.
